25 fire outbreaks in the country, the most critical situation in Riban e

On Wednesday, 25 fires were reported in the country. Eight of them remain active. The most difficult situation is in Riban and Ngraçan in Mallakastra. The flames have spread to the pine forests, favored by the wind. Firefighters have not managed to completely isolate the fires. Aerial intervention is expected to resume this morning. In Riban, the firefighting aircraft "Air Tractor AT-833" was also deployed for the first time. Air Force helicopters and the Bayraktar drone also participated in the operations.

There are also active fires in Elbasan, Libohova, Dropull and Dibër. According to authorities, residential areas are not currently at risk. Meanwhile, the fire in Penkovë, Selenica, has been completely extinguished. The flames burned two hectares of pine forest and 40 abandoned vehicles.
