Wendt speaks Arabic and Korean and has been decorated with a number of international military awards, including the German Gold Cross of Honor for service in Afghanistan, a presidential commendation from the Philippines, and a medal from South Korea. In November 2017, he was appointed United States Security Coordinator for Israel and the Palestinian Authority, where he played a key role in coordinating security issues in the region.

Greece lowers food prices, Rama: We will not intervene, the "system" does not allow us

The Greek government has reduced the prices of more than 1,700 products through an agreement with industry, suppliers and supermarkets; on the other hand, the Albanian government says it cannot intervene in prices because the "system" forbids it and promises only "transparency", at a time when Albanians are paying more for food than the European Union average and with price increases much higher than their neighbors.
