Changes in the government? Rama gathers ministers after the holidays in Pogradec

There will be no summer vacation until the end of August for the ministers of the Rama 4 Government. Prime Minister Edi Rama will continue the tradition of informal Government meetings known as 'retreats', before the new parliamentary session.

Top Channel reported that on August 24 and 25, all ministers are expected to report on each ministry's priorities for the coming months.

According to the same sources, this retreat is expected to be held in the city of Pogradec.

TCH writes that from within the Socialist Party, the possibility of a meeting of the Socialist National Assembly in early September before the resumption of Parliament's work is not ruled out, the next session being on September 7.

If this happens, then this could be the moment when Socialist leader Edi Rama can make changes to the governing cabinet.

"For several weeks, rumors have been circulating within the government about a possible leadership refresh in at least 6 ministries. However, this remains in the hands of Edi Rama, who has the element of surprise in his favorite sport.

However, the beginning of September is expected to be full of developments for both the Government and the Socialist Party, as Rama himself has put his own under increased accountability, culminating in the Besa document, an approach that he has presented as the new working method for the fourth governing mandate.

"However, if Rama decides to hold the SP assembly meeting, the motion to open a national dialogue on a new agreement for Albania, submitted to the SP by MP Elisa Spiropali, will also have to be placed on the agenda," TCH writes.

Andi Bushati: What if Lali gets out of prison?

A pact has been drawn up between the prime minister and the imprisoned mayor to return the latter to office. But what would be the consequence for a justice reform, that the high-ranking officials have kicked down the doors of his cells?

A decisive moment for Albania

It is the first time that Albanians feel they can shape the national debate without waiting for political parties to take the lead. Experience teaches us that democracy depends not only on elections, but also on active citizenship among them.

Before the verdict/ Maneuvers to get Veliaj out of the cell

Is there a new Rama-Veliaj pact that foresees the mayor's release from prison? Why did the head of government approve the dismissal of Anuela Ristani this time and why might it be beneficial for him to have "Lali's" return to office?

Greece lowers food prices, Rama: We will not intervene, the "system" does not allow us

The Greek government has reduced the prices of more than 1,700 products through an agreement with industry, suppliers and supermarkets; on the other hand, the Albanian government says it cannot intervene in prices because the "system" forbids it and promises only "transparency", at a time when Albanians are paying more for food than the European Union average and with price increases much higher than their neighbors.
