This Friday, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) is expected to inform former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku of the expansion of the investigations, as well as new charges related to lots 5, 6 and 7 of the Grand Ring Road. Previously, Balluku was only indicted for the Llogara Tunnel and Lot 4 of the Grand Ring Road.
Meanwhile, the GJKKO has decided to extend the investigation period by another three months. It is learned that Belinda Balluku may not appear in person for the communication of the charges, but will be represented by her lawyer, Ardian Kalia. The charges for the same criminal offenses have also been communicated to Evis Berberti and Miranda Shkurta.
Also today, the 3-month extension of the investigation will be communicated.
