Lumir Abdixhiku has managed to resist the process of the Extraordinary Assembly of the Democratic League of Kosovo, avoiding being dismissed from the position of party leader.
LDK delegates continued the work of the Assembly, while the process did not result in Abdixhiku's removal from the party leadership.
Abdixhiku, who has led the LDK since 2021, emphasized during his speech to the delegates that every decision made during his mandate was in the interest of the party.
He emphasized, among other things, that he had not made his journey to the top of the party alone, but together with the party's structures and membership.
Abdixhiku survived the vote: 169 against the dismissal, 152 in favor.
