Rama's state, 2 police officers and a prison employee were bodyguards in

The serious incident in Ksamil, besides the unfortunate man from Portugal who came for vacation and will return with a coffin to his homeland, has another drama inside. At least 3 state employees, two of whom are police officers and another prison employee, were involved in the incident and are under indictment for the criminal offenses of "supporting the perpetrator of the crime", "failing to report the crime" and "failing to take measures to end the state of lawlessness".

Specifically, citizen MM is an employee of the State Police in the Border and Migration Directorate in Gjirokastra. Citizen R.SH is an employee of the Gjirokastra Municipal Police and citizen LS is an employee of the Fier prison.

In a normal country, these three uniformed officers should serve the state and contribute to order and security. On the contrary, they not only serve as bodyguards in nightclubs or bodyguards for people with criminal records, but also become parties to various events, such as this one in Ksamil.

The two police officers from Gjirokastra and the prison officer in Fier concealed the incident, did not report the crime, supported the perpetrators of the murder and did not intervene to prevent the serious incident.

This is certainly not the first, nor the last, case where we see police officers and state officials become partners in crime, desecrating the uniform they wear and instilling insecurity among citizens.

Nothing has come about by chance. Sleeping in bed with crime is the main model that Edi Rama has installed in Albania since 2013 when he took power. ©LAPSI.al

Instead of taking care of buildings that threaten citizens aesthetically and physically, the Prime Minister and his Municipality in Durrës order millions of euros to be spent on building concrete walls that hide the sea and disfigure the city.
