Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj delivered a strong message at the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, accusing misgovernance. During her speech, the activist emphasized that this protest has shown that it demands social revolution and that it will not stop until Rama and the old political caste are removed.
"Today Albania woke up to terrible news. A tourist was murdered in the place where he had chosen to spend his vacation. This model of criminalization of society is the model that this 36-year government has brought us, the model of the strong who does not even know the law.
This model of criminalization, where the criminal is the owner of the land, the sea, the parking lot, or even the Parliament, where Rama has introduced it, has brought us to the forefront.
"We are fighting crime in the government that has taken the country hostage and is tightening the noose around our throats. The model of a criminal at the head of the country and at the head of the government does not represent us. We can no longer be governed by criminals with power," she said.
