New details emerge regarding the crime that occurred today in Ksamil, where a Portuguese tourist was killed.
As part of the investigation, two Turkish citizens, a girl and a boy, who were caught together with 29-year-old Sokrat Vata, were also questioned, as they were suspected of trying to remove him from the scene. In the presence of translators, they gave their version of the relationship with Vata and the moments after the conflict.
According to their testimonies, the two Turkish citizens were regular customers of the "Principotes" bar and had established a social relationship with Vata. They stated that they paid the 29-year-old for security services, such as bodyguards and personal escorts.
Before investigators, they denied any involvement in the criminal incident, claiming that they took Vata in the vehicle only because of the social relationship they had with him.
"We were friends and we accompanied him because of friendship," they are reported to have stated.
