
French media, revealing details of the negotiations for the creation of the Bektashi state in Albania, state that everything will be ready in September. Among other things, it is emphasized that the order will have a passport and money named BEK. Also, the three main negotiators have been charged with the implementation of the entire process.
Two years after the idea of creating a Bektashi state in Albania was floated, the parties seem to have started a new phase. From the idea to the documents where the basis will be the creation of a statute, but also of special passports and further, of the currency that in the document is reported to be called BEK.
The news was reported by the prestigious French media Intelligence online , which specifies that Kreshnik Grezda holds the role of ambassador general in international representation, while the representative for the United States is Christopher Hyland, founder of a luxury textile company based in New York.
Intelligence Online describes him as an entrepreneur active in the Balkans, who in 1992 was an advisor to Bill Clinton's presidential campaign and deputy national political director for ethnic constituencies.
For France and Belgium, Hazis Vardar, a Belgian entrepreneur of Albanian origin and active in the cultural sector, has been appointed as representative.
According to Intelligence Online, the Bektashi state project is not limited to the creation of a special territorial status in Tirana, describing it as a Muslim Vatican and a state that is expected to be the smallest in the world at an area of 11 hectares.
It is further emphasized that the talks are also being accompanied by the preparation of symbolic, diplomatic and international representation structures.
Also, sources close to the world patriarch Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj add that the work has continued and that the process has entered another stage, although the approval in September of this state is viewed with skepticism by them.
Meanwhile, Intelligence Online emphasizes that the Bektashi Order promotes a moderate form of Islam and interfaith dialogue.
