Independent MP Marjana Koçeku has reacted to the statements of Socialist MP Erion Braçe, who earlier raised questions about whether the entity "Neomalsore Agroturizëm", associated with her, has a certificate of ownership for the land where it operates.
Through a reaction on social media, Koçek has ironically opposed Braçe's position, stating that her family has lived in that area for three generations, but still does not have ownership documentation. She has raised the question of whether the responsibility for this situation belongs to the families and residents of the area or to the state, which according to her has not resolved the ownership issues over the years.
"No, Mr. Braçe, I don't have the papers. My mother came there as a girl, became a mother and became a grandmother. There are three generations there and zero documents," Koçek wrote. The MP then turned to Braçe, asking if the lack of documents was a consequence of the residents' lack of will or the institutions' inaction.
"So, tell me: did my parents and the residents of those areas lack the will, or did the state lack the will? Explain it to me, who has been in the legislature for almost as long as I have been alive," said Koçek. Her reaction came after the open debate on issues of ownership and documentation of lands where economic activities are carried out in rural areas.
