Acting President, Albulena Haxhiu, held a meeting with representatives of all political parties to prepare the agenda of the constitutive session, which will be held next week.
Haxhiu said that the parties agreed on the agenda for the constitution of the Assembly, a process that paves the way for the formation of the new Government and the election of the president, amid fears that the country could go to early elections again.
LVV MP, Arbërie Nagavci, said that her party is awaiting a response from the LDK regarding the start of talks.
LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, after surviving a motion to dismiss him on Thursday, declared that he was ready to return to consultations on an agreement with Kurti. However, he also made his condition clear.
Meanwhile, the vice president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, said that the PDK is ready to cooperate only on the constitution of institutions and on issues of interest to citizens, but not on co-government.
If the president is not elected within 60 days of the Assembly's constitution, then the legislative body is dissolved and the country goes to new elections. These would be the fourth parliamentary elections since the beginning of 2025.
