WATCH: British military plane crashes during training in Wales

Two British Royal Air Force (RAF) pilots were ejected from their training plane before it crashed near homes in Anglesey, north Wales, on Sunday.

Police said the two pilots were being treated for minor injuries: "Two pilots are being treated for injuries believed to be minor and there are no reports of any major damage or injuries at this stage."

Authorities urged residents to avoid the area. The Daily Mail published a video purportedly capturing the moment of the collision.

The Royal Air Force confirmed that the incident involved a Hawk T2 aircraft, which had taken off from RAF Valley. A statement said: "An investigation into the incident is ongoing and we will not be making any further comment at this time."

The RAF did not provide further information regarding the causes of the incident or the circumstances in which the two pilots were forced to abandon the aircraft. ©LAPSI.al
