More footage has been released from the arrest of 20-year-old KS, the perpetrator of the murder of his peer in Korça. The arrest of the perpetrator of the serious crime in Korça took place at midnight on August 8th.
In the video released by CNA, the perpetrator is seen standing. A police officer immediately approaches him, grabs him by the neck and throws him to the ground. Then, his colleagues come to the officer's aid, handcuffing the young man, suspected of murder.
The arrested KS executed his peer and childhood friend, Johan Zuko, with a Kalashnikov on August 8, while he was standing behind the latter with a gun in his hand. The perpetrator followed the victim to the stairs of a building, where he shot him and left him for dead.
In his testimony to the police, the alleged perpetrator KS said that the clashes with Zuko had started some time ago. The perpetrator stated that one of the causes of the clash was the fact that the victim had harassed his girlfriend. Investigators suspect that the murder may have occurred, also due to the parties' claims of being "the strongman of the neighborhood."
After the incident, KS left the crime scene and hid in an area near the city cemetery. About 6 hours later, he left the area and approached his apartment. At this moment, he was spotted by the Police forces, who immediately intervened to arrest him in flagrante delicto, reports TvKlan.
