Vučić brings back the idea of changing the flow of the Ibar River: Then

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has said that Serbian authorities are considering the possibility of changing the course of the Ibar River in Serbian territory, linking this to, as he put it, the treatment of Serbs in Kosovo.

During a visit to the works on the old railway bridge in Belgrade, Vučić said that Serbia has already engaged experts and engineers to analyze this possibility.

"We have already invited experts who deal with this issue, engineers and other professionals. When they are mistreating our people so much, let's see - we have different reasons for changing the course of the Ibar and we will see what the Albanians will do and how they will behave," Vučić declared.

He stressed that Serbia will act in accordance with its interests, describing the country as a sovereign state.

"We are a sovereign state. Sometimes we have these interests, sometimes others, and we will behave accordingly," he said.

Speaking about the situation in Kosovo, Vučić claimed that Serbs are living in difficult circumstances and that Belgrade is closely following developments.

However, he ruled out the possibility of a military confrontation with NATO.

"It is very difficult. But is it an option for us at this moment to go to war with NATO? I think it is not," said the Serbian president. /Albanian Post

Andi Bushati: What if Lali gets out of prison?

A pact has been drawn up between the prime minister and the imprisoned mayor to return the latter to office. But what would be the consequence for a justice reform, that the high-ranking officials have kicked down the doors of his cells?

A decisive moment for Albania

It is the first time that Albanians feel they can shape the national debate without waiting for political parties to take the lead. Experience teaches us that democracy depends not only on elections, but also on active citizenship among them.
