The Supreme Court sets September 15, at 09:30, for the reconsideration of Erion Veliaj's measure, after the return from the Constitutional Court. The criminal trio that will try the mayor of Tirana, at the Supreme Court, is Sander Simoni as rapporteur and Valbon Çekrezi and Genti Shala as members.
Sokol Binaj and Albana Boksi resigned from the recourse, after having reviewed Veliaj's previous requests. Earlier, rapporteur Ilir Panda also resigned. The Constitutional Court returned the review of Veliaj's request for a measure to the High Court, with the argument that another measure, other than prison arrest, must be justified.
