
Rovena Zoto (Bozo) is officially the second candidate in the race for the position of Prosecutor General. Yesterday, SPAK's special prosecutor, Adnan Xholi, submitted the application to the KLP, officially expressing interest in participating in the race.
Currently, Rovena Zoto works as a prosecutor at the Tirana Prosecution Office. She was appointed as a prosecutor in 2010, after completing the Magistrates' School. During her career, Zoto has worked at the Lushnja, Fier and Tirana Prosecution Offices. She has investigated offenses mainly related to money laundering, terrorist financing, financial crimes and property investigations.

Zoto graduated from the Magistrates' School and was appointed prosecutor in 2010. During her over 15-year career, she has served in the Prosecution Offices of Lushnja, Fier and Tirana. At the beginning of her career, she worked in the sections against Economic and Financial Crime and against Illicit Trafficking in the Prosecution Office of Tirana.
During her time at the Lushnja Prosecution Office, Zoto has been involved in the investigation of criminal cases in various fields, while an important part of her work has been focused on economic and financial crime, money laundering, terrorism financing, property investigations and financial offenses. Since 2021, she has been working as a prosecutor at the Tirana Prosecution Office, where she was initially part of the Narcotics, Trafficking and Serious Crimes against Life Section, and later worked in the Special Section. Since March 2026, Rovena Zoto has been heading the Juvenile Criminal Justice Section at the Tirana Prosecution Office. During her career, she has investigated cases related to financial crimes and property investigations, while one of the last cases she investigated is that of Granit Pepnika related to call center activity.
