Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko has reacted to President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement in Belgrade, where the latter reaffirmed Ukraine's stance not to change its position regarding Kosovo.
Goncharenko, who initiated the bill recognizing Kosovo's independence in the Ukrainian Parliament, called Zelensky's statement a "diplomatic mistake."
In his reaction on the social network X, the Ukrainian MP also published a photo showing the removal of the slogan "Free Ukraine" from the "Grand Hotel" in Pristina.
Goncharenko emphasizes that support for Kosovo's independence exists among Ukrainians and states that efforts for its recognition by Ukraine will continue.
"Ukrainians support the independence of Kosovo and believe that Ukraine should recognize the state. I will continue to fight for the independence of Kosovo and eventually Ukraine will recognize it," he wrote.
