One of the organizers of the protests that have been taking place for 44 days in Tirana, Edison Lika, said that Albanians will not take a summer vacation this year.
During his speech at the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Lika said that Albanians should boycott summer vacations this year, so that they can spend their entire lives on vacation.
"In 44 days you have told this country that we love our brothers and family members in Albania and not abroad. We do not want to leave, we want to build our future in Albania. We will not leave this square until this common dream becomes a reality for all of us. We will stay here as long as it is necessary for this country to change. There will be no holidays for Albanians this year, the holidays will be held on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard. The only way for Albanians to have holidays for the rest of their lives is to boycott the holidays this year," said organizer Edison Lika, among other things.
