"No, I'm innocent. The sex was consensual."
These are the versions given to investigators by an 18-year-old German tourist and a 20-year-old Albanian man, who had sexual intercourse on the night between Sunday and Monday, July 6, at a beach resort on the Lungomare Spadazzi in Rimini.
The two, accompanied by some friends, had arranged to meet at a nightclub in Rimini on Sunday evening. Inside the club, they began to show affection for each other, leading to the decision to leave for the beach (it seems that the 18-year-old had been drinking alcohol). There, after they had gone away from the eyes of others, according to the girl, the sexual assault occurred. After the incident, the 18-year-old decided to call the police.
The 20-year-old (resident of Rimini, employed and without criminal record), represented by a lawyer, denies all charges. The prosecutor has requested a hearing to also hear the testimony of the 18-year-old. The boy has been charged with sexual assault. ©LAPSI.al
