A person was executed by gunfire this evening in Prekal, Shkodra. The victim is Aleksandër Koçeku, who was found dead inside his vehicle at around 19:00. According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the murder may be related to the execution of 19-year-old Pavlin Preka, killed on February 26, 2025 in the yard of his apartment in the village of Guci e Re.
Vasel Koçek and Klaudio Lisaj were arrested for that incident. The investigation also raised suspicions about the involvement of Aleksandër Koçek. Immediately after the incident, numerous police forces arrived at the crime scene and set up checkpoints in the area. The investigation team is working to identify and capture the perpetrator or perpetrators, as well as to fully clarify the motives for the execution.
