
A fire in an apartment near the “Tasho” pastry shop in the city of Korça has claimed the life of a 72-year-old man. According to preliminary information, the flames engulfed an apartment on one of the floors of the building, while smoke quickly spread throughout the building. Firefighters and police forces immediately arrived at the scene, evacuating the residents.
As a result of the fire, the 72-year-old man with the initials U. Hysolli, who was in the apartment, lost his life. It is suspected that the fire may have been caused by negligence, but the exact cause has not yet been confirmed. After extinguishing the flames, the investigation group will carry out actions to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the incident.

At around 15:45, in neighborhood no. 15, Korça, on the first floor of a building, it is suspected that a fire broke out in the apartment of citizen UH, about 72 years old. As a result of asphyxiation, citizen UH, who was in the apartment, died. Police and fire services are at the scene and are evacuating the residents of the building, as well as extinguishing the fire. The investigation group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances and cause of the fire.
