
Police announced that at around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, they received a report of a family conflict in a villa in a complex in the Palasa area.
The Area Patrol services immediately arrived, and determined that the situation had escalated. Additional forces from the Dhërmi Police Station were also deployed to deal with and neutralize the situation.
Police services, during the intervention in the apartment, found a firearm, a pistol.
Also, during the search of the apartment in Tirana, with the support of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, the Police found and seized, as material evidence, two packages of combat ammunition and two cartridges.
Preliminary investigations show that citizen Elvis Kosova is suspected of raping and threatening his wife.
"Thanks to the immediate and timely intervention of the Dhërmi Police Station services, the situation was neutralized and further escalation of the conflict was prevented, avoiding a potentially serious criminal event.
"Citizen Elvis Kosova has been arrested in flagrante delicto and has been escorted by the National Security Force, Fier Unit, to the Police premises, while further procedural actions are being carried out to fully document the case," the announcement states.
Who is Elvis Kosovo?
Elvis Kosova, 40 years old, is known as a businessman in the field of vehicle sales and also owns a car rental business.
