The protest against the government has entered its 84th day today. Citizens have gathered again in "Skënderbej" Square, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
With banners and flags in their hands, the protesters repeated the chants “Rama, go away,” “Rama, resign,” and “Albania is not for sale.” The rally is part of the “Flamingo Revolution,” which began in May in Zvërnec and later moved to Tirana.
For months, citizens have been gathering every evening in the center of the capital and marching towards the Prime Minister's Office. The protesters say they will not back down, while their demand remains the same: the removal of Edi Rama from the leadership of the government.
