Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements during the 62nd protest against the government, ironizing the comparisons he has previously made to protesters by dividing them into "flamingos", "ravens" and "ravens".
According to her, the protesters are "flamingos" because they have been forced to leave the country due to the government, but they are also "ravens and ravens who eat worms like your job."
"Mr. Prime Minister, it is true that we are flamingos, because like flamingos, you have forced us to migrate outside our country, because you have stolen for four terms, you have impoverished it for four terms, and you have encouraged us to leave our country and migrate."
"But, on the other hand, Prime Minister, we also know how to be ravens and crows that eat worms like yours, that steal from the state, impoverish the state and make us flee," Vatnikaj declared.
The activist emphasized that instead of having a reflection from the government after more than two months of protests, the reasons to protest have increased.
Meanwhile, former KLA fighter, Mecan Zotaj, greeted the citizens of the municipalities who are rising up against the SP's territorial reform.
He appealed to them to join the protest square in Tirana and resist to say enough is enough to the genocide and depopulation of Albania. He emphasized that the contract of Albanians is made with the people in the square and not with the government that abuses.
"The contract and covenant are made in the square with the honest people and not with the governments. We salute the citizens of Poliçan, Dimal, Libohova and Avni Rustemi who have risen up to preserve dignity. Rama's government has been committing genocide for 13 years and to cleanse Albanian lands of its own people. He has initiated territorial reform so that citizens do not receive state service and go to emigration. He is reducing the courts, communes and municipalities," he said.
From the protest square on the 62nd day, another student took to the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office. She accused the government not only of corruption scandals, but also of abuse and indifference towards students and universities.
She said that citizens should no longer obey the government, and should protest until Edi Rama resigns. According to her, the government had money for a concert, but not for the means for medical students' internships.
"We are in no way in favor of this government or those members of Parliament who obey government orders and who contradict the interests of citizens. This government has the money to pay 4.2 million euros to Kanye West but it has no money for those medical students who perform their practices without gloves and necessary tools," she said. /LAPSI.al
