Andi Bushati: Why did Rama's campaign against oligarchs arouse fear?

The “Flamingo Revolution” shook society’s way of thinking. Today, being one of the people who benefits from the autocrat is no longer seen as an honorable man, but risks becoming a hated character. This was proven by the wave of reaction against the millionaires of Rama’s court.

Thousands of people fill the Boulevard: "There is no march tonight!"

"Free the boys" was the call that closed Saturday's protest in Tirana, which marked a massive turnout.

Thousands of Albanians filled the Boulevard in protest against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The square was illuminated by the lights of citizens' phones.

At the end of the speeches, it was decided not to hold a march.

"The square is yours. Stay as long as you want. There is no decision to march tonight. Tomorrow at 9 o'clock we will gather in front of the court" - were the last words of the speakers. ©LAPSI.al
