Marta Kos: Zvërneci, repeal the law on strategic investments and protected

Marta Kos:  For the project in Zvernec, environmental protection is part of the EU criteria and there are a number of laws that need to be changed. Even before the protests, we agreed to repeal the amendments for 2024 for protected areas and strategic investments, these would be done for chapter 27. I would encourage the authorities as soon as possible.

Protests are part of democracy and the way countries handle them is important. I encourage the government to address citizens' concerns, but chapter 27 is one of the most demanding, mostly because Albania needs to harmonize legislation. /Lapsi.al
