'Territorialja'/ Residents of Divjaka again protest against

The residents of Divjaka have continued their protest against the Socialist Party's proposal for a new territorial map, which envisages the merger of 15 municipalities. For 17 days, the residents of Divjaka have been massively opposing the merger of their municipality and its union with Lushnja.

During the rally, residents called on citizens to join the protest, as according to them, the municipality cannot be dissolved for a political whim. They expressed their determination to continue to defend Divjaka.

"We will protect our Divjaka," said a citizen.

Following the protest, a citizen declared that Rama will concentrate power in one hand. Citizens also raised the question of how a municipality can be dissolved for political reasons.

"This is unconstitutional. They want to concentrate power in one hand. How can you dissolve a municipality for political reasons? You can't dissolve an identity for a political whim. We will defend it until the last moment," said another resident.

In the end, the protest ended with a march through the city streets, while participants announced that the protests will continue in the coming days.
