A serious incident has occurred in the city of Vlora where the engine of a speedboat exploded and as a result 4 people suffered burns. The incident occurred in Porto Palermo, causing serious injuries to the people.
They suffered multiple burns on various parts of their bodies and were taken to the hospital to receive specialized medical assistance. Initially, they were transported for medical assistance to the Himara hospital, but due to their condition, they were transported to Vlora.
Their condition has worsened and they are expected to be sent to Tirana for specialized treatment. Police have gone to the scene and have launched investigations to uncover the causes and circumstances of the incident.
"Around 19:20, 4 citizens with burns on various parts of the body presented for medical assistance at the Himara Health Center.
Preliminary investigations suspect that, while repairing the engine of a speedboat in Porto Palermo, citizens XH.I, 40 years old, AO, 38 years old, MM, 25 years old, AD, 18 years old, suffered burns as a result of coming into contact with gasoline fuel.
The injured have been transported to the Vlora Regional Hospital to receive more specialized medical assistance. The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues verifications to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident," the announcement states. /LAPSI.al
