
The Armed Forces continue their engagement on the ground to deal with fires in several areas of the country. Operational teams are working to isolate and extinguish the fires, while in their support, personnel, firefighting vehicles and Air Force helicopters have been engaged.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the situation is being continuously monitored and there is currently no danger to the inhabited areas of Dajt, Mirdita and Puka.
"The Armed Forces are intensively engaged in operations to combat fires in several areas of the country. Dajtit Mountain, Tirana - The work of the operational forces continues, supported by 50 Armed Forces personnel and 2 Air Force helicopters. Currently, there is no danger to residential areas.
Lufaj, Mirditë – The work of the structures on the ground continues with 2 firefighting vehicles of the Armed Forces and 9 personnel. Currently, the fire does not pose a danger to homes. Fushë-Lajë, Pukë – The operation continues with the engagement of 40 personnel of the Armed Forces. Currently, there is no danger to residential areas,” writes the Ministry of Defense.
