The Court of Appeals has decided to release the former head of the Saranda Police Station, Gëzim Bashllari, from prison, changing the security measure against him.
From the previous measure of "prison arrest", the second-degree black squads have decided to remove him from the cell and assign the coercive measure of "obligation to appear" to the judicial police.
The former police chief was previously detained by the Police Supervision Agency (AMP) on suspicion of abuse of office in connection with controls and proceedings against unauthorized construction in the Saranda and Ksamil areas.
