Algorithm Concerns/Accounts That Promoted Flamingo Protest Disappear on Social Media

The closure of the accounts of some of the most active voices of the flamingo protest raises suspicions of a coordinated wave of reporting and a new form of censorship on social networks, precisely on the ground where the protest had broken the dominance of government propaganda and which Edi Rama has been identifying as a problem for months, blaming the "algorithm".

Rama changes again. After BESA was rejected, he curses the protesters and says

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the criticism that followed his speech about "Flamingo Boulevard", clarifying that his message was not addressed to critics, but to the "lessons" that, according to him, he learned from the flamingos.

"I get various types of chatter* from friends and strangers via WhatsApp after my speech on Flamingo Boulevard. One of them, who I also heard with the original audio from under the office window, has a comment: They repeat that they don't want "dialogue", no "negotiations", they don't give "trust" but only want my resignation! Big misunderstanding," he wrote on the social network X. Rama said that the reactions to his resignation come from people with whom he does not have a political contract, while emphasizing that his agreement is with the 800 thousand Albanians who voted for him.

"Our Besa has nothing to do with them," Rama wrote, referring to those he described as "crows and ravens," who according to him are "the dark side of the protest." He added:

So the crows and ravens should never tire of rejecting the FAITH because our FAITH has nothing to do with them, nor should they stop coming under my window with a request for resignation by 2029 if they want to!
