The Shkodra Police announced that as a result of numerous checks carried out by the Police services, the inability to leave and remain hidden, as well as continuous negotiations between the family members of the suspected perpetrator and the Police, citizen Pjerin Bitani surrendered to the Police structures, in the "Rus" neighborhood, where he had been hiding for several hours.
At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the 70-year-old was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", attempted, and "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition", after:
At around 2:30 p.m. today, in the "Partizani" neighborhood, it is suspected that citizen Pjerin Bitani, 70 years old, for weak motives, has wounded with a firearm his neighbor, citizen Vladimir Bruçi, 64 years old, who is in the Shkodra Regional Hospital, out of danger to his life. The procedural materials were passed to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action.
