The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared today at the premises of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office in application of the "compulsory appearance" measure. Upon leaving, the democratic leader gave a statement to the media.
"They were building a mini-maternity. They had also brought an incubator for babies there. They posted a list of names, to choose a name. If a girl is born, they will call her "Skapica" or "Spakica", if a boy is born, "Spakic", in a word, the list of names is ready there, for those who will be called SPAKU babies. This is a mockery, but there is a more unimaginable side to how ministers, government officials' wives also use motherhood, the sanctity of motherhood to escape from crimes for which they should burn in hell for the thefts they have committed. If this continues, Albania will become the most shamed country in the world, said Berisha.
Asked about a specific case, Berisha said: "It was Velica, she paved the way, there is talk of several ministers, former ministers, MPs, etc. There is talk of an epidemic. They use the sacred law of motherhood and nature against the law of society, to circumvent the criminal code. This is Edi Rama's government."
