
New details are emerging from the serious incident that occurred on Sunday evening in Kërvasari, Malisheva, where a 25-year-old woman lost her life and her husband was seriously injured under unclear circumstances. According to new information reported by the media in Kosovo, it is suspected that the husband shot his wife, who was seriously injured and later died on the way to the hospital. Kosovo Police confirmed that officers arrived immediately at the scene after receiving a report of gunshots. In a bedroom, they found the injured couple.
Both were transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK) for medical assistance. According to the UCK statement, at approximately 00:15 on August 24, two people from the Malisheva region were admitted to the Emergency Center. “One of the admitted persons, a 25-year-old female, arrived at the Emergency Center with no signs of life, with gunshot wounds,” the UCK statement said. The woman, who was reportedly pregnant, did not survive.
Meanwhile, her husband, 26, was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and continues to receive medical treatment. His condition is reported to be very serious. At the scene, Kosovo Police have found and seized a firearm, which is suspected to have been used in the incident.
The state prosecutor has also been involved in the case, while investigations continue to document the dynamics of the event and determine the motive.
