The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has shared a video message regarding the submission of signatures for his dismissal.
Abdixhiku has admitted that the signatures have been verified and has authorized the LDK secretariat to initiate procedures for holding the Assembly of this party where a decision will be made on whether or not to dismiss him from the position of chairman.
The LDK leader has also announced that following these developments within his party, he will discontinue negotiations with Vetëvendosje on the formation of institutions.
Meanwhile, information has been circulating today that Vetëvendosje and LDK have agreed in principle to co-govern. However, LDK spokesman Besian Mustafa said that "the published news is not true."
According to these articles, Vetëvendosje will propose a candidate for president, while LDK will get the speaker of parliament and three ministers.
