Një Volodymyr Zelensky dukshëm i prekur emocionalisht ishte ai që u pa këtë të hënë kur ai vizitoi qytetin e Bucha. Aty u gjetën dhjetëra trupa të qëlluar nga afër, të shtrirë në rrugët bosh pas largimit të rusëve. Presidenti ukrainas u shfaq i tronditur kur pa masakrën në qytet, duke pranuar se e ka “shumë të vështirë të flasë kur sheh se çfarë kanë bërë këtu”.

Në rrugët e Bucha, në veriperëndim të Kievit, trupat e civilëve janë gjetur të shpërndarë, shumë prej tyre me duar të lidhura, me plagë të armëve nga afër dhe shenja torture.

Ukraina dhe udhëheqësit perëndimorë kanë akuzuar Rusinë për kryerjen e masakrës së civilëve dhe hedhjen e trupave të tyre në një varr masiv ku në një gropë u gjetën të paktën 57 njerëz.

“Këto janë krime lufte dhe do të njihen nga bota si gjenocid”, - tha Zelenskiy, i veshur me jelek antiplumb dhe personel ushtarak.

Zelensky said that despite the human suffering, residents were chipping in together to make sure homeless animals were fed
