The fire continues to engulf the forests of Mount Tërbuni, Gojani and Gjegjani in the Municipality of Puka, while forces on the ground are working to isolate and extinguish the flames. The Shkodra Prefecture reports that the situation in Mount Tërbuni is calmer and under control, while the Gjegjan-Gojan area remains more dynamic due to high temperatures and wind. Ground and air forces have been engaged in the operation, including 40 Armed Forces personnel and two helicopters. There is currently no direct threat to homes.

The Prefect of Shkodra County informs that the mission from land and air to extinguish the fire in the forests of Mali i Tërbun, Gojani and Gjegjani, Puka Municipality continues. The situation in Mali i Tërbuni currently appears calmer and under control. In the Gjegjan-Gojan area, it continues to be more dynamic, due to the spread of the fire, favored by high temperatures and wind. Two firefighting vehicles from the Municipalities of Puka and Fushë-Arrëz, personnel from the Puka and Fushë-Arrëz Fire Departments, as well as 40 personnel from the Armed Forces, administration employees, residents and volunteers of the area, have been engaged in the field. The intervention is being supported from the air with two helicopters, which are operating in areas where difficult terrain limits intervention from the ground. Currently, no critical proximity to homes is reported. The Institution of the Prefect of the Shkodra District continues to continuously monitor the situation and coordinate all structures and capacities engaged in the field to protect the lives and homes of citizens until the situation normalizes.
