Cardiac surgeon Edvin Prifti has announced that the product called "Spike Protect" has received regulatory approval from the European Community and is expected to be available on the European market within the coming weeks.
Through a post on social media, Prifti reveals that "Spike Protect" is a biological molecule, designed by him, which, according to him, aims to neutralize the effects of the Spike protein produced by Covid-19, as well as that related to vaccines against the virus.
He says that for years he has been asked by citizens about this product, but has not preferred to recommend it without completing the regulatory approval process.
According to Prifti, once launched, “Spike Protect” will be available across Europe, including Albania. He adds that he hopes the product will help prevent complications related to Covid-19 and, according to his claims, also complications from vaccines, as well as be of help to people suffering from long Covid.
At the end of the post, Prifti thanks the companies Zion Pharmaceutical and Martinez Nieto SA for their collaboration in developing the product, emphasizing that he has requested that its price be as affordable as possible, so that it can be used by as many people as possible.
