For the 59th day in a row, citizens will gather to continue the protest against the government. As every evening, the rally will start at "Skënderbej" Square and then move to the Prime Minister's Office, where citizens and organizers will give their speeches. The protest is accompanied by the chants "Rama, resign", "Without youth there is no Albania", "Albania seeks revolution" and "Your end has come".
For nearly two months, protesters have been taking to the streets every evening, insisting they will not retreat until their demands are met. They accuse the government of corruption, mismanagement and lack of transparency, while demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the formation of a caretaker government and constitutional changes.
