The Police Supervision Agency has prosecuted four police officers for the criminal offense of "Abuse of Duty" after they allegedly allowed the construction of a 5-story building without a permit in Himara. They are Emiljano Prenga, acting Chief of Crimes in Volum, Divjaka Police Commissariat, Klodian Petani, acting Specialist of Crime Investigation, Vlora Police Commissariat, Ferit Merkaj, acting Chief of the Traffic Section, Vlora DVP and Redin Çaushaj, acting SPZ, Himara Police Commissariat.

Ferit Merkaj and Redin Çaushaj have been declared wanted by the police, as they have not been found in their apartments and despite notifications have not yet appeared at the relevant structures. For the other two employees, procedures have been carried out to declare them wanted.
