For the 41st day in a row, thousands of citizens will once again take to the streets of Tirana. They are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a complete change of the political class. The rally starts at Skanderbeg Square. The protesters then march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where they repeat the chants "New Albania", "Revolution", "Your end has come" and demand the resignation of the government.
The rejection of the political elite remains at the heart of the protest. This is considered the largest and most sustained civic protest Albania has seen since the fall of communism. Protesters have warned that they will continue to gather every day until their demands are met.
