Lezha Police provided details on the serious incident that occurred this Thursday evening in the city of Laç.
"Around 22:10, in the town of Kurbin, a gunshot was fired at citizen Ilir Gjini alias IL, alias IK, alias I. N, about 40 years old. He was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital, but lost his life during transportation.
Police services, immediately after receiving the notification, went to the scene and continue intensive checks in the area to locate and capture the perpetrator(s).
Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to capture any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of clarifying and legally documenting the event, as well as identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police statement said. /LAPSI.al
